Day 20 Regina Rest Day

It felt good to sleep in until around 7 instead of the usual 5:30.

I worked a bit on my blog (Wifi still slow) before going to breakfast with about 17 of our group. After breakfast Mike, Michel and I did a little shopping at Walmart and London Drugs. I had my iPad with me so on the way back to camp Mike and I ducked into a pub attached to the Holiday Inn as they advised they had Internet. I couldn’t connect so after we finished our beer I went into the lobby of the hotel and was able to connect there. I spent a hour or two there updating my blog.

Returning to camp it was time to clean my bike and do a little maintenance. I also had a tube to patch. Dan went into a bike store this afternoon and picked up a couple more tubes for me while he was there. I should have enough to last me a little while now.

Most of the group are developing well-defined cyclist tans by now. Most obvious is when one wears shorts that are shorter than their bike shorts.

The afternoon ended with a little relaxation in the shade before going for dinner.
