Towards the end of December I paid a return visit to Sunnylands Gardens in Rancho Mirage. It is not a time of year when there is much blooming, so my goal this visit was to capture some black and white images.
Before I get to the B&W images, I did take a few color photos that I liked. I will share two of those. (Click on any image to see a full sized version.)
Now on to the Black & White images. I have always been captivated by the early morning light accentuating the shape of the globular cactus plants in their mass plantings and the first image is an example of that. The second is a more abstract image of a leaf. And the third is sunlight illuminating portions of an aloe plant.
