Another quick post. The two photos below are from a visit to Joshua Tree National Park about a month ago.

The first image was just before sunrise. With a clear sky typical of the desert, there was not a lot of color in the sky. I did manage to just catch a nice little bit of color just on the horizon.

The second image was captured shortly after the sun came up and was lighting up parts of the foreground. Two Joshua Trees provide a frame for the sun-kissed rocks as fingers of light start to spread across the ground.
