Desert Wildflowers

In the last few weeks before we left California to return to Canada, the wildflowers were blooming beautifully. I will share some of the photos I took below. I am no expert at identifying wildflowers so won’t try except for those that I’m pretty positive about.

The open areas in the Coachella Valley were awash in wildflowers such as Desert Verbena, Evening Primrose, Brittle Bush, and others.

A photography workshop in Anza Borrego State Park yielded a multitude of blooms.

Later this month, I will be travelling to Southern Alberta and hope to photograph some more wildflowers while there. Stay tuned.
